Advanced Clarinetists, We've Got Something Special for You!
Do you want to audition for Advanced Clearly Clarinet Academy (ACCA)?
ACCA is a select group of advanced students who will focus on Orchestral Excerpts and take part in a traditional masterclass with a professional clarinetist. It's an incredible opportunity to push your skills and work with top-notch musicians! Students who want to be part of ACCA will submit their registration by May 9th. When we receive your registration indicating your desire to audition for ACCA you will receive an email from us that will include a link to submit your audition recording and a short paragraph stating why you think you'd like to try ACCA by May 10th.
(Apply early!!!!!! That gives you extra time to work on the ACCA submission!) All applications/auditions will be reviewed and students will be notified of the outcome by June 1.
Tips for a good audition submission:
Solo: Record your solo performance during Solo & Ensemble when you have an accompanist. This is an easy way to get a quality performance for your audition video.
Other Options: You can also use video recordings from any recent competitions or All-Region etudes.
Video Tips: Make sure the video is well-centered and the audio is clear so we can hear you clearly!
Application Fee:
There’s a $50 fee to submit your ACCA audition recording for review. Please note, there are no refunds if you're not selected.
Who Can Apply?
We recommend ACCA for students who are rising 9th graders and up, but if you're younger and want to audition or show off your skills, we’d love to have you apply!
Are you ready to take your playing to the next level?
